How are rewards distributed?

Rewards are automatically distributed by Talent to the top 500 builders on the leaderboard. Before distribution, the leaderboard is reviewed to ensure there is no low-quality or suspicious activity being rewarded. The rewards pool is distributed across 4 tiers: - Tier 1: Top 25 builders share 30% of the reward pool, proportionally to their activity and impact. - Tier 2: Next 75 builders share 30% of the reward pool, proportionally to their activity and impact. - Tier 3: Next 150 builders share 20% of the reward pool, proportionally to their activity and impact. - Tier 4: Next 250 builders share 20% of the reward pool, proportionally to their activity and impact.

How do I receive rewards?

Rewards are automatically distributed by Talent to the winners' EVM wallets that were first connected in the settings on the talent.app. Each rewards distribution will be officially communicated on Base and Talent social channels.

The leaderboard updates every 24 hours. If you've just met the eligibility requirements, your profile should appear after the next daily update. Please check back the following day to see where you stand.

My activity is flagged as unusual. Why did this happen and what should I do?

Accepted Answer

To prevent abuse and ensure fair rewards, all leaderboard activity is automatically reviewed before each distribution. The system looks for suspicious or low-quality behavior to keep the competition fair. Because this review is automated, false positives can occasionally occur. If you believe your activity was flagged by mistake, please submit an appeal form. A Talent team member will manually review your case. To help us process your appeal faster, make sure all information you provide is accurate and complete. You will not receive a separate follow-up message. Once the manual review is finished, the flag will either remain or be removed. If it is removed, your eligibility will be restored automatically and reflected in the app.

My GitHub/Onchain/other category progress is stuck. Is my data being tracked correctly?

Each category (such as GitHub, Onchain, Farcaster, etc.) is made up of multiple metrics that are tracked in parallel. Every individual metric has a maximum cap to prevent gaming. If you've already reached the cap for one metric and haven't made progress in the others, your category progress may appear "stuck" even though your activity is still being tracked. To reduce the risk of abuse, we don't provide a detailed public breakdown of individual metrics. If you'd like us to double-check that everything is being tracked correctly, you can always open a support ticket.
